Paul Higgins- Landscape Painter

I was trained at the Berkshire college of  Art and Design where I studied Graphic Design and Illustration.

On leaving college I embarked on a career as a Freelance Illustrator, creating artwork for publishing and advertising agencies mainly in London.  With a few years experience behind me I then approached a leading Artist Agency who agreed to represent me. Through the agency I was able to obtain commissions from the top London publishing houses, creating designs for book jackets and promotional materials.

It was during this period that I first began to paint landscapes.  I continued to develop my landscape art while pursuing a career as a Commercial Artist.

Over the years the popularity of my landscape paintings grew and finally led me to take the decision to become a full time professional Painter. Currently my work is exhibited in Galleries throughout the UK, and I also hold exhibitions at country shows and other events throughout the year.
